tendering

Our professional tendering department consists of highly skilled and eloquent engineers and surveyors whose principal role is to market our services and win contracts for REMCO.

For those who are new to the idea of tendering, there are two main forms of tendering to be aware of. These are the “open” tender process and the once-off “select” list process. The difference between the two is that in open tendering only those with invitations to tender are allowed to participate in the tender process. Contrastingly, in the select process contractors who apply are narrowed down into a vetted group through the use of a pre-qualification questionnaire. Those contractors who answer this questionnaire satisfactorily will be short listed and invited to tender against the specifications provided.

Generally, tenders will be awarded to the contractors who submit the best offer in terms of both cost and quality based on the specification provided. Having experts in all the key electro mechanical fields gives REMCO a unique edge in value propositions and fair costing, thus enabling us to win many tenders successfully.
